Today, 16 years to the day since the @mikelittlezed1@twitter.com blog comment that sparked the project, WordPress clocks up a market share of 33.0% of the world's top 10 million websites. That's 50% more than every other identifiable CMS technology put together. https://w3techs.com/technologies/details/cm-wordpress/all/all

‘Do you ever write a silly pop song?’
—‘I don’t know what a silly song is. In my culture, purpose of song is to give life and hope to the people, to heal the broken hearts. And you don’t get to sing a song when you have nothing to say.’

In other news, I’ve just made Firefox my default browser on my phone and laptop after 8-ish years of Chrome (with one brief intermezzo of FF Developer recently).
Did a full swing and set DDGG as default search engine, and settings to clear cookies on quit.
Will continue to use Chrome for work for a while, but probably not for long.
I still use Google apps (Inbox, Calendar, Maps, Drive) for pretty much everything. But it’s a start.
This is gold: 40 assumptions your systems probably make about names, and all of them are wrong. https://www.kalzumeus.com/2010/06/17/falsehoods-programmers-believe-about-names/
